Taalib Saber

Taalib Saber, native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, is a young, pan-african attorney, filmmaker, and community organizer. A 2015 graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, Saber practices Criminal Defense, Civil Rights Law and Personal Injury as an attorney with Black Lawyers for Justice. As a filmmaker, he has traveled to and spent multiple months in Ghana, Azania (South Africa), Kenya and Tanzania working on his current documentary series titled, “Afro-Hop: Politics, Hip Hop, and Pan-Africanism.” He also is the current film director of the Maryland, DC, and Virginia Chapter of the Let’s Buy Black 365 national campaign. As a community organizer, Saber is an active member of the organization Movement for Black Power, a coalition unified to promote cultural, economic and political power of Black people.
